"Crayex Corporation's relationship with Versaplex dates back more
than 15 years, with Versaplex having built a total of six blown film towers, as well
as a custom-fit mezzanine for the installation of gravimetric blending equipment. In
addition, Versaplex has done alignment checks on existing
lines. This is where I think Versaplex really shines; they combine their expertise of
working with steel with a knowledge of the blown film process,
paying particular attention to making sure everything is level, trammed, plumbed and
aligned. Extrusion is difficult enough as it is, so in my
opinion this attention to alignment detail just helps remove variables from the extrusion
